Kiln Shell Temperature Monitoring System

■ DESCRIPTION The kiln shell temperature monitoring system continuously measures entire surface temperature of a rotary kiln under operation. Small temperature change caused by an outbreak of hot spots in the early stage can be detected by the high resolution optical head and the elaborate software, thereby making it possible to maintain stable operation. The temperature is measured by a rotation mirror type scanning thermometer (optical head). The scanning angle is as wide as 100 degree. Entire surface temperature is measured with one round of the kiln rotation by scanning along the longitudinal direction. Coupling the temperature data with the rotation angle signal, two dimensional temperature pattern is obtained. Two dimensional temperature data is converted to various image, such as the spread image, the trend graph and the three dimensional image. The warning signal is provided according to the upper or lower temperature range over. Measured temperature data are filed in a hard disc and accessed at any moment. In this system, a maximum of six kilns can be measured at the same time. Also, a maximum of six optical head can be connected. |

ALARM SIGNAL OUTPUT FOR
Temperature Range Over The kiln is partitioned into 60 zones along the longitudinal direction. The upper and lower temperature limit is assigned to each zone, and the alarm signal is displayed on a screen according to the temperature range over. |
REFRACTORY MANAGEMENT
Alarm Signal Output Current alarm condition is displayed on the CRT screen. When the optional alarm signal output term is built in the system, the contact point type signal is fed out at the alarm emission.

DATA FILE Data File Entire temperature data of the kiln surface and the rotation speed are filed every time appointed in the software. When there is data save capacity of 20 GB, and the filing cycle is assigned at every 10 minutes, nine years will be the term of the filing volume. |
AND ACCESS Data Access Data in the hard disc can be accessed at any moment and displayed on the screen the same way as the measured data.

DATA ANALYSIS Temperature Difference Image Display
Two pieces of specified temperature data and of those temperature differences are displayed by the thermal image and the temperature profile graph.

Temperature Data Parallel Display
Seven pieces of temperature data line up at the same time and are displayed. This screen is convenient to compare data for 7 months, 7 days, or 7 hours.

TIRE SLIP DETECTION (OPTION)
By the installation of the tire slip detection limit switch of the option in the kiln tire part, the tire slip value can be detected. The installation of the tire slip detection in a maximum of six to one kiln is possible. The tire slip value is displayed at time (msec) or slippery quantity (mm) on the measurement screen. |

OPERATION DATA
The operational data value can be displayed on the measurement screen by inputting operational data at analog value (4-20mA 1-5V) when adding the operational data display feature of the option. The operational data value can be displayed in a maximum of four to one kiln.

DISPLAY (OPTION)

PRINTING (OPTION) By using the printer of the ink jet type of the option, the color hard copy of the screen can be done in the color which is the same as the measurement screen to the A4 size ordinary paper. Also, the software has the fixed time printing capability. The color hard copy of the screen can be output in the optional time. |
