"Pollinosis" or Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis occurs during specific seasonal periods when plants shed pollen. Our sensor can distinguish between pollen and dust by comparing scattered light and degree of polarization.
Our sensor is to detect airborne particles and discriminate cedar pollen from road dust by checking scattered light intensity and polarization degree.
Conventional Pollen counting has been time-consuming work so far. However with using our Pollen Sensor, pollen counting device and/or system can be designed.
Any person can easily analyze pollen particles utilizing the pollen sensor, also pollen information can be made available without delay by taking advantage of the real time analysis that is available anywhere.
PS2
This sensor detects the particle with light scattering method, using one light emitter and two light receptors, and discriminates pollen from other particles with two factors "scattered light intensity" and "degree of polarization".
1. Pollen discrimination and count, by "Degree of Polarization"
This sensor detects the particle with light scattering method, using one light emitter and two light receptors, and discriminates pollen
from other particles with two factors "scattered light intensity" and "degree of polarization". Patented.
2. Built-in Suction Fan
Fan enables constant and larger sampling of air. Pollen count information can be made available without delay by taking advantage of
the real time analysis.
3. Built-in Heater prevents dew
Optical unit and circuit are fully covered with plastic case, and built-in heater keeps the sensor away from dew.
4. Compact, Light and Low Cost
